Default 20" Vossen CVT's

Front: 245/35 9" +38
Rear: 275/30 10" +45

Considering doing RSR Half Down springs. Anyone running this setup with a 275 in the rear (10" with +45)?

You might rub in the rear with full load or road dips. I was rubbing a bit on those exact specs with stock suspension on falken fk452

I suggest to try to go around town with 2 guys sitting at the back and see if it doesn't rub

Well a couple of things...

1. The front rubbed slightly and I heated up the inner fender wells with a heat gun and pushed them in a bit. Seems ok now and this has been mentioned on the forums

2. Yes the back does rub with people in it. I have a fender roller coming and I plan to heat the fenders and roll it out slightly just about 1/4 inch should do it. It won't take much and I should be rub free.

3. I plan on lowering the car with RSR half down springs. This should make it sit perfect.

Here is a pic of the rear.

Nicely done Love those CVT's. I'm concerned that all 4 corners will rub. Having had 20's on my 2IS with 225-35/20, I was having rubbing issues. That said, I can't imagine the 245-35/20. Also, the rear tires are way too wide. Those are for cars like Mustang, G37, etc. I'm not telling you what you should get as for your tires, but just expressing my concern about possible rubbing issues. You'll need to do some work to avoid the rubbing! Good luck!

I'm in a very similar situation. I have the Niche version of these wheels 20x10 but they are a +40. The tire I went with is a 285/25/20. I want to lower as well but not sure if I will rub?

You may be able to get away with this (with half down springs) however I'm sure it will rub in the rear. You would be surprised what happens when you stick 1 person or 2 people in the back and start taking turns or hit pot holes etc. The rear fender wells are not wide at the bottom and it rubs right where the sheet metal meets the plastic bumper and they're connected.

Having the +40 in the rear vs the +45 I'm sure makes a small difference also you're running a 25 series tire...
