i just picked up a 1j sc with a bad trans. Im putting a stock in it for now but I have a built boost logic with converter sitting. when I swap to the boost logic I want a built spare. did you build it yourself or a shop?

I got a shop to do it, I didn't want to take any chances.

Thanks for asking the question, I did call the shop to confirm the number and they informed me that I must of gotten my numbers messed up as for the Tranny.
The Tranny is built to handle 800hp, but 600 to 650whp. I was a bit disappointed as I thought it was 850whp, he explained to be safe and not have any tranny issues to keep the whp 650 at most. I wanted to make sure the information I gave was accurate.
The shop is Tach Motor works in , Oceanside, NY
Engine build 1000hp
Tranny built to 800hp but not at the wheels.
Let me know if you have any other question
Cheers

Great Setup Man; Looks Clean. Those Brakes are SWEEET, but LS400 Brakes and Rotors would have saved you a TON and opened up some spending room for more awesome Upgrades. But Obviously money is not a concern lol

This is my third sc and been wanting to do this for years and wanted it done right, the sc has been my favorite car since I had my 92 sc 400. you are right I should of used LS400 brakes, and if I was to do this again diffidently would take that route. At this time can't wait to get the car done and drive it and see what it can do on the track. Money is always a concern but this is one of those you only live once
