Default NinjaCEO 95 SC300 build thread!!!

Man after looking at all the awesome build threads I feel like there is no point in sharing mine, but here we go!

So I bought a 95 SC300 back in May of this year I was originally going to get a Miata but after riding in them a few times I felt that I needed something slightly more practical and after daily driving an RX-8 for the last 4 years a Miata just couldn't.

My SC300 is indigo blue pearl one of my favorite colors the SC comes in its in decent shape other than the common issues like the splitting seems in the rear seat leather, etc. overall pretty good shape.

The pics below are just what the car looks like in it's current form the N/A 2jz took a **** on me so I just daily my RX8 atm.

The build has yet to begin I'm just collecting parts right now and I'm just about finished. Sorry for all the terrible iPhone pics.

The work wheels in the earlier pictures have been sold, I now have a set of some work classics (discontinued) Work VS-SS they are 18x9.5 +15 and 18x11 +15 I will be rebuilding these very soon, might have these done before the engine swap picked them up today for a decent price.

Trunk full of parts awaiting the swap

and random pics of the SC/8

had some VS-XX but were to aggro for my taste

Okay hopefully I can have some relevant updates over the next few days/weeks.

Default Updates!!!

So I picked up a fully rebuilt R154 transmission from Aaron @ Driftmotion.com, and the 2JZ-GE has been removed.

The oil pans need to be swapped before the vvti goes in I have one of those crown engines luckily I found a swap thread on here that tells you how to do it all.

My next order of business is to get the wheels rebuilt, order the pedal set, clutch, flywhell, etc. get everything ready to run then get a proper tuning solution for the 1jz-gte/vvti (etcs-i) with R154. I'm going to upgrade the stock turbo with one of these: http://www.driftmotion.com/VVTi-1JZ-...d-p/dm2339.htm

trying to keep the engine fairly stock with just the BPU things.
