Dropped off the ISF at my local vinyl installer.. 4 days later...
I believe this is the first Lexus ISF in 3M Gloss Blackrose. It is gorgeous!
I guess I'll have to update my signature from USB to GBR?

I decided to have the car wrapped after a number of paint issues.
Dropped off the ISF at my local vinyl installer.. 4 days and nights later...

Its been about 13 months ownership now and I figured it would be interesting to share my cost of ownership between Sept 2014 to Sept 2015 as well as my experience. Just did the math and I was pretty surprised with the numbers. of course, I enjoyed every moment of the car as well.
I drove about 15,000 km (or 9320.50 miles) in this period.
Gas = $2461.90
Insurance = $3127.26
Maintenance and necessary parts = $3907.60
Total = $9496.76
Maintenance and necessary parts include:
- Oil change x2
- Differential Fluid Flush
- Used set of winter tires plus installation
- New set of Michelin PSS plus installation
- New o2 conditioner plus installation
- Fender Roll
- New spark plugs plus installation
- Bumper Repaint
Other parts such as my spoiler, headlights, vinyl wrap, sway bars, etc. are not included.
This is the fastest car I have ever owned and a thrill to drive to it. So far I have made two trips to the dealer for the recalls. My current issues are frozen navigation and coolant leak at the radiator hose which I will be addressing soon.
My ownership expense rate is about $0.63/km (or $1.02/mi) in the 12 months period. I expect the rate to go down over the years since the tires are newly purchased and I did the major maintenance. Maybe some time next year I will need new brake pads or possibly rotors but I'm not expecting anymore major maintenance. On a side note I'm confused if my transmission needs any maintenance. That may come back and bite me.
