Default Lexus GS Liquid Platinum Build

Here is my 2013 Lexus GS350/ 9300A Platinum Premium Package build thread..ENJOY~

Posted are some pics of before and after so you could see the differences

I want to thank...Tustin Lexus, Tustin Ranch Collision, Joe Z Performance,
Performance Tube Systems (PTS), Tanabe, Apexi

The day the car was purchased from Tustin Lexus...

________________________________________________________________________________________________

First stop straight from the dealer was Tustin Ranch Collision....

Right from the start I had a vision...I wanted to do some custom paint work to accent the car.
The guys at Tustin Ranch Collision felt what I wanted to do and came up with a beautiful gray
they custom made to paint the front bumper, grills (top & bottom) & roof
First thing done was tint all the windows 20% and the windshield a neutral

Here is the car disassembled..

The front bumper in the paint booth: As you can see they did a custom job masking not just the center but also the sides to the bottom

Also a pic of the front sensors b4 and after paint

Here is a pic of the roof just after paint applied. Had to remove the rear glass, headliner & antenna
They also painted the antenna and roof moldings not shown

Mods.......

Tanabe springs

When it came time for springs, I was looking to close the tire gap and improve handling.
The best option for me was Tanabe springs. I was able to get the right height with 20" wheels
with 1.1" front and 1.2" rear drop.

Apexi throttle controller

I was up in the air about a throttle controller, but decided to go with Apexi, in my opinion it was worth it.
You will get better gas millege while in eco mode and that instant throttle in high throttle mode.
I must say I love it!! If you are considering it, you wont regret it for the $$.

For those looking for an intake. The Joe Z intake is an easy swap out for the stock one.
Even though the sound creator is eliminated (pic below). The sound of the Joe Z intake
& PTS exhaust sounds real throaty and mean!!

Before

After

Even though I could not get the foot rest pedal I decided to get the F spot pedals

Before

After

In a joint effert with Joe Z and PTS here is the much anticipated axle back exhaust. Trust me it's worth waiting for!!
You will not be dissapointed with the results. It's well made and sounds great with the Joe Z intake

Before

After

Next we added the center pipe
Stock mid pipe

PTS/Joe Z mid pipe

YouTube Clip stock/axle back/full exhaust

While in the body shop we also tinted all the tail lights on the trunk, Quater panels, rear bumper & front bumper emblem.
Then replaced the rear chrome trunk emblem with a black pearl one. Then added a trunk spoiler.

Customized my engine cover to match the car

After

Wow you're serious with this build! I also have LP and have been contemplating having my dealer paint my bumper midsection a color close to NG as opposed to black. Any particular reason you didn't get the f-sport bumper instead? Can't wait for the finished product!

I definitely did not want to do black paint. The gray we came up with looks amazing in the sunlight
I also painted the upper and lower grills the same color to match. In my opinion paint is the way to go.
Whatever you choose to do I'm sure it will look amazing. The F sport bumper is something I am
still contemplating..Never know

I will be posting more pics soon~

I'm liking the front a lot. It's giving me ideas for something similar, thanks for the inspiration. Can't wait to see the finished product you've got started.
