got556's '07 IS250 AWD Obsidian slow progress thread
Hey guys, somewhat new here.
Picked up an '07 Obsidian IS250 AWD about a month ago and slowly starting the mod progress. Since I live in NW Indiana and we have lake effect, I'm not too worried about modding the exterior til the spring time frame. Plus this winter I can hopefully get some of the dings worked out of the body and update a lot of the molding/weather stripping that is starting to become an issue.
As of right now I had to order a new drip molding piece for the passenger side of the roof. Will install that as soon as I can find out where my 3M double sided tape went.
In the past I used to have a 350Z with Stance coilovers, AME Circlar Spec R's then moved to Volk TE37's with Dunlop Star Specs, Wilwood BBK, and Greddy single exit exhaust. So I haven't modded a vehicle in a while and man it feels good to be back doing something I enjoy.
Plans are F-Sport bumpber, 2012 LED headlights, 20% or so tint, IS350 brakes, Greddy or HKS exhaust, BC coilovers, F-Sport sways and brace, and either 19X9/10 Vorrstoen ES5's, Linea Corse 818's, or whatever I finally decide.
As I said, exterior will be slower than the interior due to winter quickly approaching here and this is my DD for the time being. I have so far wrapped the steering wheel and 3M dinoc'd the woodgrain, while also adding an F-Sport shift ****. Next mods for the interior will be new floormats, LED's for the stock interior bulbs, and F-Sport pedals.
Here's a few quick shots, currently rocking the 17" stockers with Conti DWS's.

Agreed and plan on it. Here in a little bit I'm gonna head back out to the garage b/c when I left for work this morning, my shifter lights, seat heater lights, and cup holder lights weren't lighting up, maybe I didn't seat a plug properly.
Also an FYI when you disconnect the door switches, you have to roll each one down and all the way up using that window/door's switch before you can use the master switch for all four windows on the driver's side. The lights on each door's switch will blink at you until you do this.
