Fresh oil change.
I had a r154 left over from another project and decided to convert the GS to 5spd.
In the process of removing the lower dash to add a pedal, I found a button.
Turns out it's for a radar detector! haha awesome.
Xcessive Manufacturing SC300 Clutch pedal that i'm making fit.
Fuse box has to be moved. not enough room for a master.
much better! need to clean it up.

I actually like the wheel/suspension setup. With those coilovers you can go super low on the 17s. Gives the car an aggressive look that you just don't see on other 2GS's. Kudos.
Please post detailed pictures of your 5 speed conversion. I think it would really help out the 2GS community a lot. There's a lot of explanations of how to convert it but pictures are lacking.
Is there anything different about the SC300 clutch pedal assembly from Xcessive Manufacturing? It looks like the bracket is custom? I am curious as to how this will work out as far as pedal placement. The other swaps I have seen have the pedal way to the left or too close to the big bulky automatic brake pedal.
I have been thinking of using a clutch pedal set from Wilwood along with their Clutch Master Cylinder. It's small and would probably be easy to mount.

Keep us posted and good luck with the rest of the build!

Thanks guys.
I got some more parts in.
Spec clutch
my flywheel has been resurfaced.
Another glamour shot. lol
Some stuff i've found for the 5spd conversion:
stock trans xmember will work without being drilled out if you use a jzx90 or jzx100 trans bushing.
XM's SC pedal placement is way off from where it needs to be, I am working with him on getting a good fitting pedal for the GS.

Any more pics of the car with those wheels? I am looking at going 17x9
And please do update us on the clutch pedal as I am getting closer to doing the 5spd in my GS4
