Some 3M wrap I used to cover the cracked paint and bondo that was coming off. Its very aggrevating but looks better than missing puzzle pieces on the bumper lol. Thanks for the props.

Well after a month of the car sitting on jack stands, and 2 bad starters, I finally got this reman from Pep Boys in last night. Finally got her started up! Now just need to put the Battle Version rack bushings back in and drop her on the ground and go!

Great Job from a fellow DWP 1J owner! Looks a lot better after you cleaned some things up in the bay and the interior.

Well quick update, Got the car back on the ground finally. Battle version rack bushings installed, New silicone couplers installed with tclamps on the hot side of the ic piping. Did that because I kept popping pipes under boost at high rpms. Also noticed I was getting a boost leak right at the outlet of the turbo, there was a small coupler down there about 3 inches, and the pipe connected to it had a bend at the joint. Looks like boost was creeping out right there. Also noted oil specs all around that area. So I cleaned that all up nice and everything is nice and tight with clean junctions. Also got the starter in, thank god she started right up. Only issue I am having now is the car on cold start needs a little accelerator to start up, I need to rev her up for about a minute to keep her at idle. She is idling real low now at like 300 rpms. Wondering if since I had the battery disconnected for like a month would that effect my tune or ecu? Running 1J ecu with SAFC2. Anyways here how she sat after I got her running.

Coming along nicely, you are on the right track. Your car looks very nice. I too am in the middle of my 1.5jzgte and can't wait to get it running.
