Exclamation dorifto project

hi everyone, been here since i bought my gs300 as a daily. but last week cops gave me a mechanical inspection cuze of my ride height and scrapping mark on my tires -_- ( cops are really hungry here in quebec, canada) so instead of continuing building my ae86 , imma start a drift project with it!

when i bought it last year ; (sorry for crappy pics)

Went with supra n/a front brakes, TT rear brakes and tein type HE drift master

rolled the fenders, tucked the wheelhousing wire harness into the engine bay, aristo front grill/lights , repaired the front bumper and painted it

quite a bit of evolution for a beater

my rhd ae86 just so you know

plans are pretty simple

- r154 /customs drive shaft
-custom driving shaft
-welded diff
-TT front brakes
-rear caliper 4 pads setup
- etc

all comments /feedback are welcome

Might need a extended shifter housing if you wont be using a soarer/chaser transmission.

Cool progression, I'm not a fan of the sunken look or the welded diff but definitely a badass machine none the less. Do you plan on DDIn the AE86 or the GS? haha

i read about the shifter extension too.. but it depend on which transmisson i can get my hands on..

the gs cannot be on the road anymore because of the f²ckin cops.. so ill DD my ae till winter and i plan to buy a Duramax.

No problem, if you need any information hit up my build thread as I did the R154 swap and tried to detail it out as much as possible. I have advice as far as doing it all over for sure haha. And that sucks about the cops! I just got pulled over today in my swapped GS and let off! Whew... It's definitely faster with a GTE

it really, i wanted to fully build my ae but plan changed ... dont know if you heard about it but in Quebec they banned ''hellaflush'' so they became really hungry and they pull over almost any lowered car its really stupid.. kinda scared to drive my ae

little upgrade! almost everything is stripped and started to fit my supra mk3 clutch assembly

cutted the firewall

made a little box to fill the hole

may not be the easiest way but to me it look like the best/strongest way to do it..

That will probably be pretty strong, I would still make a bracket to where your foot e-brake mounts to support your clutch pedal because of how flimsy our fire walls are.
