Default My (old) 2007 IS220d SE - The Diesel Destroyer, 383 lb-ft/231 hp

Registered here a while ago but never put a thread up on my 07 is220d SE. Well i sold it last week to a co worker minus a couple parts which i swapped over to my new 2010 is220d F Sport (seperate thread going up for that and current mods/plans/blah blah).

So my old 220d SE. Started life with me as a standard car with the exception of having already had the DPF gutted and a DPF emulator fitted.

Over maybe a year and a bit the car was lowered on H&R springs, got a DTUK/DTE systems cam angle/rail pressure tuning box, got a RonBox (somethink akin to an FCD-ish) and ultimately had the ronbox out, tuning box kept in, ecu remapped with a little tweaking to make things play nice and between the tuning box and ecu tuning as well as an intake i ghetto rigged with a WRX MAF pipe, the stock MAF sensor, an is250/is350 aftermarket intake heatshield and a K&N cone filter i managed to put down 383lbft and 231bhp on a hub dyno. Nice little gain considering standard the is220d is 300lbft and 175bhp ish. Additionally the car got drilled discs all around and mintex pads all around because f--k brake fade lol

also for the lesser clued up on the diesel variant here.. Theyre also manual transmission only and with a 6 speed box. Suffice to say an is250 wouldnt see which way i went lol

anyway heres some pics of the SE. Ill throw up a new thread on my new F Sport.

Stock vs tuning box alone vs ecu tuning ontop of tuning box.

miss the old girl but i think ill top it with my new 2010 is220d f sport once i get some stuff done with it (can spy it in one of the pics above).
