Cool, I think I can handle that. Thanks!

I've done the headliner on my old Honda back in the days, so hopefully this one isn't too "over-engineered" . Let me tell ya, I learned firsthand of Lexus' engineering when I encountered, and fought against, the rear reclining seats of the LS460 w/Comfort Plus package haha

BTW, that second battery setup is awesome!

Would a sideways mounted battery be bad for it?

Not for an optima battery. They're advertised that they can be mounted sideways or upside down.

Thanks bud.. you should stop by and check out the progress..(no cell phone zone for the next few weeks..lmao)

i wasnt willing to lose any more trunk room.. (available space left is comparable to the hybrid's now) so less than that would be hard to deal with on road trips.. i actually got the idea the last time i swapped my hid fog bulbs.. i saw a ton of empty space an hoped a batt would fit... turns out theres plenty behind the bumper...

we install upside down batts (sideways too for that matter) under truck beds all the time..i think we're going for some kind of record.. the most i've put in under a truck is 12 (and thats mixed upside down and sideways depending on space...

heres a pic of the rear lip kit with a K40 laser defuser added to it. i'll add the 2nd 1 later.. this was a test fit to make sure they would work in this location.. (fyi i'll have 6 defusers total 3 front , 3 rear...with front and rear radar.) BULLETPROOF speed protection..
