No problem at all, I have a few friends on here that have the same size rear tire and do not rub, they just have a higher offset than the 38 I have, I believe some have a 42 and 45, some of the New Vossen wheels have a 48 on the rear so the tire really tucks under nicely. In fact I think I am going to switch to the Vossen. If I could run a 265 or 255 on the rear tire of mine It would be great...
Let me know if you have any questions I would be happy to help you out....

Hi NVMarkus
Can I see a side shot of your rear wheels to see how a 9.5 +38 w/ 275 wheels look like?
I bought the same wheels 18" only though with the same offsets +38 still deciding on 255/265/275 width so to prevent rubbing.
Thanks!

Wheels: Wheel 1 Wheel 2
Wheel size 19x9.5 ET 38 18x9.5 ET 38
BackSpace 171 mm (6.7'') 171 mm (6.7'')
Tires: Tire 1 Tire 2
Tire size 275/30-19 265/30-18
Section width 275 mm (10.8'') 265 mm (10.4'')
Sidewall 83 mm (3.3'') 80 mm (3.1'')
Tire diameter 649 mm (25.6'') 617 mm (24.3'')
32 mm (4.9%) shorter.
I would say with the extra .4 inches and smaller height you should be good to go...

Just a question as I am curious. Could one remove the piece of plastic in front on the rear wheel. I know it is there to prevent rock from chipping the paint but I hate how it shows a distinct line around the edges. It would look as bad if the plastic tape gets pitted anyway no?

Yes, it is just like clear bra, the factory puts it there to protect the paint, being that I am sure they ruined some cars without it... You know that is a high impact spot if the factory includes it there...

^^ Thanks for the answer. I agree that they must have placed it there for a reason...I will decide whether to leave mine on when it arrives.
Car looks great by the way....nice mods that's for sure!
