Got a Powerhouse aluminium power steering pulley installed. Quite a bit lighter than the OEM.

wheel setup looking good, i like that you have 245/40 all around..curious though, did you have to roll the fenders in front or back? Any rubbing issues after your drop?

Yes. All my fenders were rolled. Prior to doing so, the fronts rubbed severely. None at all afterwards.

Oh yea I guess it would be hard to have 245's in the front without rolling, so you did the whole fender liner removal and wire harness relocation too? Thats the only thing im worried about doing to the fronts right now seems like alot of work. Im going to be running practically the same size in the front too 18x9+24. I just bought the same color car as you too maybe a month after you lol nice taste

I left the fender liner removal but I tucked the wire harness higher up in the fender and re-wrapped it in electrical tape and secured it with zipties. It actually isn't that hard, but you'll need a couple flash lights and some scissors to snip the existing zipties and get rid of the OEM plastic housing.

I look forward to seeing it!

I have the 97 skirts laying around but getting them painted will be expensive. Also, they hang lower than my front since I shaved the ACS bumper. If I get around to getting them painted, I'll likely shave them as well. The rears are next up after that. Paint though....it's soooo pricey.

Installed OEM 97-01 tails. Harness was plug'n'play. Had to widen the inner mounting holes with a dremel.

Installed my New Brights 80W 6400LM (3200 lumens individually) Cree LED low beams.

LED (left) vs Halogen (right)

Attachment 495450
Attachment 495451

Did about 15 miles, and they're great so far! Slightly brighter than my halogens. Nice and white (~5000K) like HIDs. LEDs that are bright enough to be legitimate driving bulbs are a relatively new concept, so in case anything goes wrong, I have my halogens stored away safely. I'll be logging any issues I have.

good progress, man. Your car is looking awesome. The 97+ tails with 92-96 rear is perfection

SC is coming together very nicely. I am surprised I have not seen this thread earlier.

You got me real interested in those bright light LEDs. I may have to trade out my HIDs for those down the road.

Had the shop relocate my harness into the engine bay. Was just millimeters away from the tire ripping through the wiring. Luckily it only took out the electrical tape I used as sleeving.

Derek, if you're reading this, thank you so much. I really appreciate it and it's probably the nicest thing anyone at an automotive forum has ever done for me/my car.

If you're ever in the DC Metro area, PM me, I'll take you out for drinks.

Also, is there any donation area where we can contribute to help site maintenance/uptime? This site helps so many people to such a great extent, it would be great if we could give back.
