Looking good, were you able to launch smoothly with that clutch of yours? I know there's a company that makes a sort of launch control that controls the way the clutch releases when you dump it. I heard it's good for smoother faster launches and better on the drivetrain. I bet you can make it into the 10's once you get your head lift issue fixed. Keep doing what your doing it's an inspiration to all us 1uz fans.

Thanks Mayntor,
I had an easier time getting the car to leave with the stock gear. 3.96:1
It has been harder to leave with the TT 6-speed rearend. The 3.29:1 gear takes the power out of the motor pretty quick, and the motor wants to bog under the hard launches.

I have had a lot of time to play with the new rearend though. I'm kinda afraid of breaking the 6-speed rear. I know the TT 6-speed rear is stronger, but I have seen the carrier break on them too. It was a little bit bigger bill to swallow to buy the 6-speed differential. Don't want to do it again. Lol

But with the clutch, no. It wasn't that bad. It's not a stock clutch, but for the power it holds, it's a good compromise.
It doesn't like the slow gentle starts. It wants to grab, squeak, ans squeal.

I just think its time. I've had a lot of things change this last year. New house, and a son.
