Thanks. Before i did the wheels, a lot of the guys here at work thought i was crazy. It actually made me second guess myself a little. But after the wheels went on, they all sang a different tune. LOL. Wanted something different that wasn't too crazy looking.

Yeah, i had thought of doing carbon as well, but decided to keep it a little more subdued with the gloss black.

Wanted to push the front wheels out a little more and no one made the right size hubcentric spacers i wanted, so i had my own made.

- custom machined 8mm billet aluminum hubcentric spacers
- ARP extended wheel studs

Default Custom trunk in the works

Well, this project has been in the works for awhile now. Since it's getting close to being finished, i figured i would post up some shots of the custom trunk setup going down.

Next set of pics will be when it's finally painted and installed.

First stage of primer and more sanding:

No nothing on the quarter panels. The wing i got was just a single piece for the trunk lid. I just wanted to mold it in rather than just sticking it on.

Ditto! Coming from a BMW and always loved the look. Thought it would look good on the 3IS, so definitely eager to see pics of this finished mod!

Mine was a single but i had them build up the quarter panels so everything would be even out, here is a pic of my old IS maybe this will help with my explanation. Notice the quarters are just as high as the trunk spoiler....
