Also finally got in my MirrorTap wire so that the Valentine 1 could work again. Great product. No need to run a wire all the down to the fuse box. Just taps right off the factory connector for the rear view mirror.

Looks good Wilson!!! Ever consider the blend mount? so much better than suction cups. Car is looking clean can't wait to see more mods!

Thanks Ride. Yeah, I actually have a blend mount. It was from the FJ. It actually fits. Tried it on, and just wasn't feeling it. Who knows, maybe I'll try it again some other time and like it. Lol

Can't wait to start on the big mods. Just sucks that they're a lot more money. Lol

Default Blacked out grill trim

Never been a huge fan of chrome. So I dusted off the old vinyl wrapping skills and wrapped the chrome trim around the grill today in 3M Gloss Black wrap material. First bit of vinyl on the new car. More to come.

I plan on doing this too. Did you use a solid piece of vinyl or did you use multiple pieces?

Had to do it in multiple pieces. One piece won't last with some of the angles that are in the grill. Itll eventually start lifting back. There's nice body lines in the trim piece to place the seam lines. Can't even tell.

I want to do this but in satin black vinyl instead of gloss black. Looks good though!

Very nice Tai3IS. Can you point out where the seam lines are? I'm prepping to wrap it this weekend and that info will help.

I got my info from the thread below.

Blue wire for the positive and purple wire for your ground.

Default Goodbye Chrome

So to continue with project "eliminate chrome", I again used some gloss black vinyl and wrapped the chrome trim around the windows to match the gloss black grill trim I did.
