Yeah our trunk lighting is poop >.<

And Nice. Looks good. Got both your compressors in the spare tire area? Very clean.

just for kicks
I'm waiting until I redo my trunk with wood and I'm just going to outline the edge with an LED strip to give it that "under glow" effect haha.

I have both hardwood and laminate available I could use to do my trunk, but I always wondered how exactly you would get to the spare tire if needed or how you would even mount the tank since you have to screw in from the bottom, which I don't see how you can do.

hinges yes! you do need to have it in at least two pieces so the board can be removed and installed into the trunk opening. like shmee my setup is in three pieces, though i didn't use any hinges. cut it perfectly and it stays put!

That looks nice, Did you just trace the carpet on the plywood? I am going to use my Lexus embroidered floor mat to trace mine before I try to sell it on here.

I thought about doing this and putting dark hardwood or laminate on but SOOOO many people have done it.
I have a wonderful idea for mt setup that I haven't seen on anyone's car that I want to do that will actually be fairly easy and probably cheaper than wood/laminate.

exactly, i used the mat to as a template!

yes change up the typical wood flooring! it's refreshing to see other ideas on how to mount the tank and compressors! check out the vw scene, they always have cool ideas (and also not so cool ideas).

Protip: Don't get a 24" x 10" tank and expect it to fit with stock carpet. That's what I did, and I'm gonna have to run it sans-carpet until I find a new tank, or redo the trunk lol

My setup is actually 4 pieces plus the back wall. Going to redo it later this summer as I'm not happy with it having everything in the tire well.

Hey, where do you get the water catchers at? I need to get one but was told not to worry to bad about it until it started to get colder. So I have just been pulling the emergency bleed every couple days to spray some of the water out.
