^Not saying that; just saying to get away without rubbing anything and no fender mods, they're your best bet.
I run 19x8 with a 30 offset up front with 225/35/19 tires. Got 19x8.5 with a 30 offset in the rear with 245/35/19s. Judging by the differences in offset and wheel width AND you only being lowered on springs, you can probably get away with more tire in the rear. I'm tucking the tires all around currently.

So just to update you guys... I was going to go test drive the gtr 2day but of course it didnt happen because god hates me. (which was proven bc after my accident and loss of the game I got summoned for jury duty lol) We got a snowstorm in today dumping several inches of snow on us... I have tickets to the devils game on Monday so hopefully Tuesday I will go get to test drive it finally... So Because it was a crappy day and I had nothing else to do bc my plans fell thru I decided to start a new project... I'm currently wrapping my stock fog light covers in carbon fiber. Got them sanded prepped and played the cf cloth today and applied 2 coats of resin... Looks good so far and I'll post pics in my cf wrap thread soon. If all goes well and I like the finished product I'll wind up selling the OEM ones in cf and start the process over again on my fsport lip fog covers to put back on my car. Just fyi about tires I went with the 26530/19s for the rear to try and keep the rolling diameter as close to 1% of stock as possible ... Thanks for the help gville

Yeah I found both of those... Crazy pricing. I have isf paddles on my car now and I have a set of 250 paddles I wrapped in cf myself... Idk maybe I'll put the cf ones on the car and wrap the isf ones bc no way am I spending 450 on either of those... Fyi same seller is selling both either stock isf paddles or cf 250 lol dudes smoking something good... Def going Tues to drive the gtr and update my body guy said he started to get parts in for my car so hes gonna start on it today...

Yup he came with me to test the gtr today... All I have to say is... WoW.... what a car... And a total plus for today was no fighting with my pops at all. He was in a good mood. Back to the car... The power is unreal in it... Turbos feel amazing... And pull HARD. So much different from my supras or rx7s... Maybe the awd... All around a completely beautiful car... I love everything about it other then the milage it has on it... Was advertised at 28k but had 33k on it when I got there... Interior is sick with the red black 2 tone... I like the ignition button spot a lot too... My pops drove it and even he was quite impressed lol he got on it in 3rd turbo kicked in and he was pinned in the seat lol... It was a long drive down and back but the entire ride home we talked about the 2 cars and pros and con's.... No decision has been made yet but he now totally understands my argument to get the gtr and he even said he really liked it so thats a good sign... If I buy it and hold onto it for a long time only driving it on weekends and really nice days n keep the milage down it'll be worth something as a collector car someday probably like the old r34s supras and rx7s are now worth today... My problem is my dad does that and buys expensive cars and parks them n doesn't drive em ever really... I'm the opposite and I'll want to drive the car every day lol all in all today was a good day... I wish they made it in manual. Would only add to the experience of driving the car.

^^Told you he'd love it; any car enthusiast (no matter the background) has to appreciate it for its raw ability to put a smile on your face and plant you back hard in your seat. Like mentioned previously, if kept as a weekend-only vehicle and lovingly cared for, it's an investment! How many modern vehicles can you say that about!
Regardless, either are good cars and you'll be happy with either; but just keep in mind this thought...how many opportunities in life does one have to purchase a GTR? Some, like me, never; so count yourself lucky and do the once in the a lifetime decision to go against the grain. Sounds like your pops will not mind having the monster in the garage either now.

I totally agree with you on it and I'm leaning 90% towards the gtr... Here is the only argument my dad makes that idk how to counter... The rc is brand spanking new with no miles on it... The gtr has over 30k and they are roughly the same price (gtr is a couple k more) the only thing I can come up with for this argument when it comes down yo making a decision is that the new price on the gtr is over 100k n if I wanted a new one it would be that price... The only reason its mid 50s is that it has 30k miles on it... Sound lile a reasonable and logical argument?

I love the rcf too, but the GTR is a dream.
Please look into COBB Tuning. Theres a guy at these car meets I go to with a beautiful gtr and cobb performance parts.... its brilliant!
The exhaust parts and tuning modules make that thing a beast.
Cobb is apparently one of the leading performance companies for porsche and the nissan gtr specifically.... pricey but worth it
