Default JspecVtec ISF

I have had this 2011 SPF ISF for about 1.5 years now and here are some of the mods I have done. It only took me 4 months to find a SPF reasonably close to me =).

Nice build man. Can't wait to hear what you pull after the headers and tune.

Nicely done.

What intake are you running now? Think you said the Carson was for a while, so guessing you have something different these days?!

I'm thinking the RR-Racing titanium intake would look lovely in that engine bay!

Clean build mate. Not sure about changing the wheels either?!

Think they work really well with the other mods.

Look forward to following your progress.

I'm running stock intake now. As an engineer and looking at the design/material of oem I see it as most efficient (based on dynos vs other ISF owners on same day too). I do not believe there are any gains/or very minimal with aftermarket ISF intake system. Even if there are some minimal gains, the throttle response seems to suffer with ply/silicone tubes (probably from deformation of the tube under pressure)

Interesting. So the tube is mostly for sound then.

yeah that's what I believe, minimal sound and bling bling, that's it. I think a drop in filter would be more effective (less pressure drop, better flow = better power)
