So, I finally sold my SC400. I'm done with owning coupes as a family car, and I had no intentions of daily driving my SC300. I spent my time waiting for a buyer looking for a family car. At first I was looking into ES300's. But I figured, I've been paying gas guzzler gas mileage for 5 years of ownership of the SC400, so might as well get into SUV's. I've always had SUV's and trucks anyways and kinda miss driving one. The hard part was finding a black on black one, with rear entertainment. Everything I find was usually up in NorCal about 8 hours drive from San Diego. Until the day my buyer confirmed that he's driving from Arizona to pick up my SC400, was when I found this black-mint-condition-garage-queen-beauty. It has all the bells and whistles when it came out back 2008 already included. Drove to the sellers place right after the SC400 was gone, and made a deal with the seller the same night. Just brought it home today and been driving it all day, and it drives like it just came out of the dealership. Here's my new baby beside my other baby. Two black beauties. Now I don't have any excuse not to do air, since my GX has factory air. LOL

Other people haul bikes, I'll haul my SC into meets and shows. Copy that. LOL

The SC looks beautiful, I would really be tempted to strap a turbo to it, although I say that about most cars. keep up the good work seeing a clean SC like yours makes me want to start focusing on the stance and exterior/interior instead of engine mods when I get time to work on it.

I was just having that discussion with my wife last night to be honest. I'm not satisfied with the stock GE engine. After I finish the body and suspension some time next year, I'll either save up for a complete GTE, V160 & Torsen diff (pretty much an entire Supra MKIV without the body, lol) or just boost the GE for a quick solution.

Just a little random pic after working on both cars yesternight. It's funny how the SC is still longer than the GX.

Word to mother.
Thanks mang Gerry. I'd like to do it properly when money allows. I'll deal with the slow poke that it is for now.

You know what, it was pretty much a no brainer after daily driving the SC400 for 5 years. I used to get 15mpg city and 21-25mpg freeway with the SC400, and i get 15/21mpg with the GX. The 300 Is just little bit better with gas mileage of you drive it nicely.
