WOW!!! Great score
I bought my 08 back in October with just under 15,000 miles and I thought that was unheard of!

Wow, I feel really bad for that guy. Very sad story. The bright side of it is that the car went to a Lexus enthusiast that will appreciate it.
I don't blame you for not wanting to crack the 1k mark. I think it's safe to say you have the lowest mileage 2008 but there are still 2014s making there way to owners. Enjoy the car!

Thanks for all the comments. I planning on installing a Takeda intake and I am leaning towards a Borla exhaust and that should be all for her.

Just got her professionally buffed and polished.

Oh, and it has 1074 miles on her now.

Next thing is a full clear bra. Full hood, full fenders, and full bumper.

Great score, I love the low Milage I would also be scared to drive it.

I did a full one piece clear bra on the hood, the entire fenders, side skirts, the flat part on the rear bumper by the trunk. As well as front bumper, mirrors, head lights, fog lights, pillars and the roof from the windshield to the sun roof. I used suntek film it dosent yellow like 3m and by doing full hood and fenders you can't even tell it's there you have to feel for seems to know its on.

Very sad story behind the low mileage, but glad to see you are taking such good care of the car.

I'm sure the previous owner would be glad to know you were taking care of it as well.

I'd caution the Takeda cold air intake if it was me.

Following some dyno testing, I was actually losing closer to 10HP, and lost some mid-range grunt as well.

I've since swapped out the Takeda, and fitted the HPS silicone intake pipe with a K&N panel filter.

Whilst it's not made huge gains, it has restored the HP and mid-range torque I lost.

I will probably swap the K&N for the aFe version (some people have reported the oil from the K&N can dirty up the MAF sensor) when it needs re-oiling, but I'm really happy with how it's performing so far.

Better focusing on the exhaust side of things. Maybe a nice Joe Z system to let that V8 rumble out to play!

Best colour as well by the way!

For exhaust I am going to go with Borla.

Interesting on the intake. Maybe I'll do the exhaust first and see how I like it and maybe just do a drop in filter....

Good choice on the exhaust.

Sensible on the intake as well.

I really don't think the design/setup of our engines works very well with intakes.

No harm in changing the intake pipe for a better flowing example (HPS seem best for this), and changing the panel filter for a high performance example.

Best of luck with it chap.

Cheers.

How she currently sits. A milestone in mileage and dumb luck I ended up with that mileage as I parked in the garage.

Wow that is such a sad story about the original owner, but I'm sure he's glad that the car is in the hands of someone who will love and cherish it!
