NoPulp's build thread
Hello everyone! My name is Diego, most commonly known as Gogo. I couldn't get Gogo as my username so thought I would use NoPulp, as it's the name I've chosen my recently purchased Lexus GS30. I recently picked her up(6 days ago), 1 previous owner, low miles. The previous owner had her painted Sunset Pearl. Car is in very good shape in and out, for the exception of a few customizations I can't/couldn't stand.
I have decided to create a build thread to keep track of all the changes or modifications I do. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, the process will be a bit slow and moderate.
Here ya go!
The day I got her(last Tuesday).
I put the wheels up for sale, and to my surprise they sold the next day, so that left me with some play money. Most of the money went to my NoPulp Coilovers foundation, so yeah my baby should be hugging the world here pretty soon.
With the temporary wheels.

During Easter Sunday I got a few minutes and decided to address the atrocity of a grille the car came with. The previous owner had put on a Billet Grille, so decided to Plastidip it black for the time being. I should be getting an OEM replacement for it tomorrow.

Not a bad idea, given the wheels will probably take me a few months to get.

Welcome to the club. I was in the same boat you were when I started. I had the GS I wanted...but I had to make changes to it ASAP. My GS came from the previous owner with some UGLY and heavy 20" wheels and cheap chrome trim on all of the lights and door pillars. But now I have my GS back on the right track. Good luck with your build. I cant wait to see what you do with it!

So, I was washing the car the other day and I noticed one of the wheels had a crack on two of the spokes. Just great. So I had to use some of the savings to get new ones. Or new to me i should say. They are XXR 526 in 20x9 +20 all around. Not exactly what I wanted as far as wheels for this car, but it'll do for now. I must say I like the way they look.
I think they will look great once dropped. Might run some spacers in the rear.
Spent all evening doing some well needed maintenance. Did the front rotors, pads and replaced two wheel studs; one was stripped, the other one broken.
Look at what the UPS man delivered today. Busy day ahead tomorrow.
