Brazed coolant pipe for turbo
I had Aeroquip make a 90 degree flared pipe with a -8 flared weld on fitting at the other end. This and the hose with a 90 degree flared pipe made the same way but shorter is how I beat the heat on turbo lines many years ago.I never ever worry about coolant lines melting any more.

15 row oil cooler
I have used this type of cooler for 5 years and I ordered a new one for this build. This thing is huge over all size is Overall Size: 13.5" x 9.5" x 2" Core Size: 9" x 8.25" x 2" Inlet / Outlet Size: 10 AN.
This will be great for cooling and extra oil volume I would think I will have 10 quarts of oil with this set up. My old setup had 9.5 quarts with a bit smaller cooler with a core of about 9x5.5 or 9x6..
I have a dual filter setup from Amsoil one filter holds 1 quart of oil the larger one holds almost 1.5 Quarts of oil. Awesome filtering, and extra volume for cooling
Over all I have used this cooling set up for about 12 years with no issues.

power steering relocation fitting
I had a -10 flared fitting welded to the cut power steering reservoir. This allows for it to be remote relocated.

-oil cooler
I got the oil cooler set up today, and I am sorting out the intake and the turbo set up. The turbo hits the frame so I will need a spacer that I ordered today. The intake does not have a Q45 flange as advertised so I ordered that flange today as well. Time to get some fabrication done it seems.

intake project
The intake that I ordered will not fit with out fabrication because it hits the brake booster. So I am making it into some what of a long runner. I had to cut the lower runner and weld the upper runner to it. The bottom is complete now on to the top plenum mod.

Today I did not have much time to work but I test fit the turbo and Intake Manifold. I ordered a 1" spacer to keep the turbo compressor cover from hitting the number 1 exhaust runner. This looks promising and it clears the hood. The 2JZ exhaust manifold fits nice with the Spacer in place, and with minor fabrication I think it will mate to the bottom half of the old 7M manifold to the cat.
The intake needs to be re-fabricated a bit since it hits the hood in the front. The turbo drain and all the water lines were test fitted today, and a MOCK throttle cable linkage was fabricated for throttle.
My Ls2 coils won't sit in the head like they did in the 7M so I can go back to the old style that I used to have them mounted until I get some 1ZZ coils. I already have 1zz pig tails.
I connected the feed of the fuel rail and it plays nice so all I have to do now is set the fuel pressure regulator in and sort out the vacuum.
Tomorrow I will have pictures since I did not get to do any work until after 4 pm and when I stoped it was dark at 8pm!
If all goes well I will start her up tomorrow.
Things I need to do is get the lower IC pipe and a aluminum elbow fabbed to the turbo. I also must fab brackets for the oil cooler.

I don't have pictures but I got it all together and tried to start it. It cranked but didn't start, but since it was at night I will have to go back. It is raining here in NY, and it is cold so I will probably wait until Thursday to take pictures and tie up lose ends. I did notice that I have fuel pressure so now I must now check for spark.
I have to also make sure that the grounds are all connected since I saw the ground to the block missing.lol I also noticed that my newly placed oil cooler is located where my IC intake to throttle charge pipe is and one of the filters hits the intake.

It lives
Well today was a good day....I got it to start. I tried starting it late Monday but it did not start because the CPS plug broke and the plug was inserted upside down. I corrected thAt and it starts. Now I need IC pipes and the intake to be refabbed.
I also must button uo the coils since they will not fit in the COP configuration like they did in the 7MGTE. This will be temporary since I am ordering 1ZZ, or coils from a 2005 Seqoia V8.
