Default Any success with transplanting in a Toyota truck engine?

It seems like the 4.0 and the 4.7 are pretty similar. Im sure there are a few differences but the basic building blocks are there. Anyone tried it?

I'm pretty sure the 2UZ has less power than the 1UZ and I think it's a cast iron block so heavier aswell

Ouch. Figured it had more torque or better cams or something over the 4.0. It takes the same timing belt which means the deck cant be any taller. So i guess its an extra .7L with more bore and a touch more piston travel without messing with the blocks deck height. Stinks about the iron block.
