Got the block and head ready for the machine shop. Everything looks great so just a clean will be in order.




Great thing happened today. My bc272 cams had a little nick in the cam. They are brand new and Brian crower is making it right by sending me another cam. I could have ran the cam as is but if they are sending me a new one why not.



Still a few parts I would need to order to rebuild the motor. I wasn't planning on doing a full rebuild on it. On a brighter note I will try to install clutch pedal tomorrow and hopefully install the motor within the next week or two. I went with a cast manifold with a bw s366. I order all the powder coating materials to try to powder the intake and other little things.

Head is almost done at the machine shop. Should receive everything next week.


Current garage state. Two project cars. My wife's ek hatchback and the gs300 waiting for her heart.


New oem Toyota everything for the motor. Cast manifold and s366. 1000cc injector walbro 416 proefi. Brian crower valve train with 272 cams. Hopefully I can push 650whp.

Finally got the motor back from the machine shop. Can't wait to assemble it and get it back on the road.




Back on the engine stand.



Reassemble motor. Install clutch pedal for v160 than wire up the proefi. Excited

Awesome progress! We are in a very similar boat right now. Aside from the fact that you're a baller and are ordering things way faster than I am! :lol:

And thanks for the offer on the cams. I have my stock ones still, just deciding if I want to drop the cash on a set of Tomei Poncams or not.

Hopefully I have some time to put my motor together this weekend. I need to do a garage sale. I have way too many parts laying around. Turbo finally came in today. It's finally coming together again. Lol
