Thanks. I want to chrome the wheels but it looks pretty good with the black faces. Sadly I had to raise it up. The car drove like crap that low. It's still low without a gap but I'm
Not tucking tire anymore.

Motor arrived today. I order two motors, but I had to return one of them since it got messed up during shipping. One for a buddy of mine and the other for my car.

Get in my belly. Wish this motor would just magically transplant itself into the engine bay.

Brought some 272 cams for the motor and a ati dampner. I probably won't install the cams until phase 2. I want to move the computer into the cabin as well and will most
Likely do the 6 spd swap since I don't want to make two driveshaft one for the auto and later v160. I might as well spend the money once.

What are people using as the camber kit for the 2gs? I need one for my car to put it back within specs

Motor is pulled. Going to freshen up the new motor and drop it in. Hopefully all goes well during the first start up

Spent tonight take apart most of the motor. Hopefully I can do the powder coating myself. I'm not sure if I wanna go all wrinkle black or just the chrome powder coat. Any suggestions?

Chrome which requires a double bake. The chrome color and a clear coat.

I'm leaning towards wrinkle black for intake manifold, fuel rail and valve covers.

I will order a new ects-i sticker to replace the one I took off. Also I need to order a ge vvti valve cover gasket as I have the gte gasket kit which won't work with this motor. I think I need some vvti o rings as well.

Pulled the head off the block. Everything looks pretty good. Haven't pulled the oil pan off yet tho.

Will send everything out to get check. I'm stuck in a dilemma. Build the motor now or go back with stock everything. Decisions. I know my clutch won't hold the full power of a built motor. I'm not ready to spend that kind of money on a clutch either.
