I just scanned my code. It came up as the following:

P0763 Shift Solenoid C Electrical

Just my luck. I just picked one up from Lexus for about $300. Now to figure out how to install it.

After weeks of fixing issues the car was giving me, I finally got around to test fitting my wheels with a new set of tires. I did a lot of thinking and I am now leaning towards selling or trading them. More details will be available in the 'Wheels Classifieds'.

I'm a little disappointed. I thought you knew going in that it was going to be a lot of work to fit these. Are the car repairs discouraging you?

I'm afraid so. I'm averaging about a problem a week. I take very good care of this GS. I can't even take it on a weekend trip to wine country without it burning up on me despite having spent good money on cooling system maintenance. My registration is due in two months and I've failed emissions three times so far. Each time resulting in costly repairs. After my last weekend trip to the beach, I realized my right rear wheel bearing was bad. The rear began to vibrate heavily and howl loudly with speed.

But regardless. It is a great car and I intend to go further with the upkeep. It's better than my first two GSs. It looks like slowly but surely I'll have her up to speed. If I can't sell the wheels I'll go ahead and find a good body shop that can weld on fender flares to make them fit.
