Good luck on the fitment. I bought a set of 22" Avus Forged wheels meant for the 6/7-series from the Bimmerforums also, but luck wasn't on my side. The wheels were not only too aggressive for fender clearance, but they did not clear the LS460 brake calipers at all! Mine were 22x9 and 22x11 I think. Unknown offsets, but they were too much for the LS460.

Luckily I was able to sell it, and use the money towards a deposit for custom built forged wheels.

Thanks! These will help me determine if I want to go 22's or smaller.

Sorry to hear your wheels didn't fit. The wheels I got actually fit quite well. I'll post pictures of them mounted soon!

Time to test fit the wheels and check for clearance.

Front and Rear test fit. Rears look flush and will fit no problem. Fronts look like they might poke a few mm's.

Rear side check

Front side check

Front caliper clearance. Although the wheel spins freely. Fitment is too close for comfort. A few mm's will be shaved off the front caliper.

The Final results, front calipers shaved a bit and tires mounted.

Good enough for now. Next up, more waiting on parts to arrive from Japan.

Tony

They look good!

How much poke on the fronts now that the tires are mounted?

Rears look perfect from test fit.

Can you post side pics with drop?

I want see how flush everything looks withe the tires on.

Thanks Tee! This is the only picture I could find that kind of shows the side view.

The wheels actually don't poke. With the drop, the tires and wheel sit pretty flush with the front fenders.

Yep, got lucky. I also did do some research before hand and made sure the wheels were within spec of what others were running. I'm kind of a wheel ***** so I needed to be sure the fitment was on point.
