Default w58 to 1uz sc400 swap about ready

Ok guys I have a single turbo sc400 1uz swaping a w58 now here is a parts list that I have and working on... THIS IS A COMPLEAT PARTS LIST FOR THIS SWAP for an lexus sc400 1uzfe w58 manual conversion.... oh ya and im working on the wireing to turn out the o/d light with manual swap... I will post wireing diagrams as I figure out the wireing too):)

W58 transmission
from an sc300 or mk3 or mk4 supra (there are 4 diffrent w58's 3 are recomended from early and newer sc300 there are two diffrent ones with them but both work... the newer and older mk4 the earlyer one is diffrent then both the sc300 styles but the newer one is the same as the newer in the sc300 these are the recomended ones to use... you can use the mk3 one but the shifter housing and the shifter linkage needs extended or swaped both parts)

1uz bellhousing
stock auto bellhousing from 1uz transmission a piece on the bottom needs notched out when bolting it up to the adapter plate because of a bolt sticking out

adapter plate for w58 to 1uz bellhousin (toyotav8.com)

T56 throwout bearing
and slave cylinder to fit this there is a sleave on the w58 transmisions input shaft thet needs cut off 2 holes drilled for the clutch lines and noching out a piece of the bellhousing so you dont crack your fittig when you tighten your t56 down(ebay.com)

T56 throwout adapter plate to w58 (toyotav8.com)

sc300 driveshaft
for manual trans (ebay.com)

Sc300 speedo sensor(on sc300 w58 transmission)
(If you get a supra style you will have to swap speed sensor to sc300 sensor because of the mechanical sensor from the supra and the electeonic from sc style vehicles you can get this sensor on ebay or driftmotion)

Sc300 clutch start switch(jeep cherokee door pin)(ebay.com)(optional do research for your desired setup iff you dont cair about your light just wire in the neutral position and/or reverse lights )
the clutch start switch wired to neutral... and the jeep door pin welded to the clutch pedal to low (L) gear for ecu purposes so when clutch in its thinking its in neutral when the clutch out it thinks its in low so the engine is not trying to shift with auto trans when its not present...
here is another thread that I started just for the wireing
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...nual-swap.html
This link i found is for supra but sc300 and 400 ARE IDENTICAL except for injector layout for the sc400 is slightly diffrent the 1uz is wired to fire 2 injectors at once to balance engine idle, so this means there are only usage of 4 of the pins on the 1uz's ECU for injectors, also there are 2 coil wires this is only needed to know for standalone systems and for piggyback systems none of which is needed for the w58 swap so its irrelivent but also good to know so to clarify the sc400 DOES HAVE SLIGHT DIFFRENCES IN THE WIREING this alo means you can not swap ecu for a manual trans from either sc300 or supra into the sc400)
http://wilbo666.pbworks.com/w/page/4...0JZA80%20Supra

Sc300 clutch start switch connector(junk yard/ebay.com/dealership)(optional)

Shifter for the w58 you have

Sc300 ruber isolator for tunal (junkyard/dealership)(optional)

sc300 clutch pedal assembly (driftmotion.com)

sc300 shifter bezel (driftmotion.com)

sc300 clutch master cylinder (ebay.com)

Clutch Hydraulic lines (toyotav8.com)

Extending the shifter housing and the shifter seat(THIS IS ONLY NEEDED WITH MK3 SUPRA W58s) (the guy at toyotav8.com can do this (to get inside lever out here is a link that i found)
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/fo...-a-W5x-Gearbox

Sc300 manual transmission mount

1uz custom flywheel (toyotav8.com)

1uz pilot bearing (toyotav8.com)

Flywheel bolts
4ag/1jz/2jz toyota arp part number 203-2802(ebay.com)
Do not use the auto flexplate/flywheel bolts they are too short they only go in the holes about 1/4 in.

Pressure plate bolts
4ag/1jz/2jz the torque converter bolts from the auto will not work for this (ebay.com)

3sgte pressure plate and disk
I have the clutch kit for it from ACT (ebay.com)

Sc300 clutch Alignment tool(any parts store should have in stock)

its about $2000 to $3000 to do this im waiting on my shipment to start this swap

also I will be posting pics as I go for a document for others because I had to much trouble finding resorces for this swap

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CAR IF YOU MESS SOMETHING UP... PROFFESIONAL INSTALLATION RECOMMEND
(all parts are listed are needed) also, some of the list is subject to change due to the experimental methods of this swap, or untill reserch is compleat such as wireing and specifics

Just cut and extend an earlier shifter, it's not that hard to do. This will also give you the opportunity to make a short shifter for your car

So I have abandand the supra w58 and went to an sc300 w58 same style nothing changed with the list.... so I now have a w58 up for grabs with no shifter and no housing for shifter and no bellhousing its from mk3 supra earlyer style and unknown milage junkyard trans with no tachometer and bellhousing, shifter housing and shifter gone... I might save if for future reference if I blow up the other one the tail housings look like they will swap out to bolt the sc300 one

Yes I will measure them when I get back to the garage... but I got this pic today of the new fittings on the t56 slave one unscrewed the other I had to punch a pin to get the other one.. so I have all the parts but im waiting on the extension of the shifter housing and the shifter seat ts getting extended 2 3/4 in..... as soon as thats in, The transformation begins I sent it out and thats when I figured it out that I did not need it, he is shipping it back and refunding my money thanks Will, if extended for mk3 supra then needs 2 and 3/4 in. Extension

does any one know what fluid the w58 takes its fron a 92 sc300 it has about 92k miles if that matters?? And here are the adapter plates bolted to the trans without bellhousung on it

That might be a stretch im not sure... so the t56 throw out does not fit all the way down the w58 trans, slight modification is needed by cutting down the sleeve over the input shaft by a few inches, this is how others do the t58 slave set up to get it to bolt to the adapter. Dont worry its just a slide for the original way the theowout bearing workes here is it cut off and the new slave cylinder and throwout bearing attached

So I figured out the style of master cylinder from a supra will not fit the bolts are off from the sc master cylinder... if you shop ebay look for the one that the resorvor is slanted NOT STRAIGHT UP they say it would fit sc300 but will not....the supra one is the black ans sc300 is the silver there are several diffrences the sc300 one has the new fittings attached
