LOL yeah it's definitely more of a build thread now. Not sure how to change the title so I'll leave that for one of the moderators....

Well I'm back with some more updates. It has been a really rough time as of late due to family medical bills. Hence why this project has been damn near brought to a halt. The fuel rail development has also been brought to a stop by full function engineering as well. So that was another road block. I went ahead and bought the driftmotion rail for the time being. Saturday I went into the shop and started working on the car in an attempt to get it done and fired up. This would have happened.....if only the center feed fitting on the rail would stop pissing fuel everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I need to try and figure out why it won't stop leaking no matter what I do. But in the meantime, here are some more pics. You will also see I didn't use the Driftmotion supplied lower bungs for the injectors, or the rail spacers. The ones you see installed on my ID1300's in that pic work amazing!!!! we had to fabricate some rail spacers in order for the rail to fit properly with the harness and manifold right there in the way.

Well I solved the leaking center port with a different, shallower plug and a lot of teflon tape. No more leaks. Now it's time to weld the blow off valve on and start the tuning process!

She lives!!!! Went into the ProEFI software and made the changes for my new ID1300 injectors, and bam, she fired right up first try!

She has an oil leak from the rear oil feed port on the block. The driftmotion plug isn't doing it's job no matter how much teflon tape it has on it. Thankfully Oumar let me know that this is the same size as the oil drain plug, so I will be using that to fix the issue! thanks again Oumar!

I have one coolant leak to fix as well and she should be good to go!

Corell No problem buddy!!

That coolant cap at the water pump has to go, it will pop and you will get stuck on the side of the road , car will start overheating...Remove the cap, put the original that came off there back on, cut 3" off the hose, put it on that nipple, get a 14mm bolt slip it in and put a clamp on it..

Or you can pull the nipple off, tap it and put a bolt in there!!

Glad it's coming along

Well this weekend was eventful lol. I got a lot finished and the car is finally up and running like a champ. With my luck, the coolant leak ended up being the freeze plug on the back of the water pump housing. It had a pin-hole and was spraying out. So I figured I might as well do some other maintenance while I was at it. So the motor came out. While it was out, I did the timing belt, new water pump, 2jz modified high pressure oil pump, bunch of seals, fixed a bunch of little things and cleaned the motor and bay. I think me and my friends may have set a record for shortest motor pull, reseal/upgrades, and reinstall lol. We got all of this accomplished in a days time with some serious hustling and little to no sleep thanks to my two jobs. Here's some pics.
