you could always get a custom interior or do a dye job.

Your right bro. But I can't deny I'm an original kinda guy. I like the car in its entirety like how I got it. But I seen the process in the dye. It came out really nice. If I had the garage to do it, I'd try that out. That saddle leather is gorgeous!

I made some more progress this weekend... I installed the '01+ gauge cluster. I did a hardcore interior detail. I replaced all 4 of the door lock actuators. I finished wrapping all of the interior pieces in a "carbon fiber" wrap. $15 from parts store, hard to complain...

I also went to the pick and pull and got a pair of calipers off of a '96 LS400. I ordered a rebuild kit from rock auto also...

I still have a lot that I'd like to do before spring time... I need to install the compass rear view mirror. I did buy the 18" g35 wheels...

I'm planning on painting them a gunmetal or dark grey, not black though. I think these, paired with the SD headlights, some smoked side markers, a grill painted to match the wheels and a "L" emblem on the decklid painted to match wheels/grill will all set off the car nicely.

I still need to get a suspension setup that now will have to include a set of front RCAs to accommodate the LS400 BBK. I'm going to do drilled rotors and SS lines with those as well.

I'm always open to input from any of you guys on what to do with the car (within reason). Thanks for looking and commenting.

Here are the remaining items on my "mod list"... These are things that I still need to purchase... Looking for input on how all of this would look/drive after installed.

Yellow fog lights - putco 9006
TTE lip spoiler rep
Sportdesign trunk lid spoiler rep
Tanabe DF springs, new shocks??
Double din touch screen radio
Upgraded speakers/sub
LED interior/exterior lighting
Smoked sidemarkers
95-00 LS400 drilled rotors
SAGE 18mm RCA's
Stainless lines

I still need "to do" the following with what I have on hand...

Remove resonators & install magnaflow exhaust tips
Paint: Matte gunmetal "L", Matte gunmetal grill, Matte gunmetal wheels
L-Tuned steering ECU
SD headlights
Compass rear view mirror
Install BBK, bleed brakes

wow the interior looks great. makes me wish I had the black interior in the GS. a new member recently posted a DIY on the rear view mirror install with compass from a RX. there all over eBay.

car is coming along nicely.

Looks good. I'm usually not a fan of carbon fiber wrapping interior pieces but it looks like you did a great job and it came out looking nice with the black interior.

Is your center console made from two pieces of carbon fiber wrap? :O
Those panels look much better with cf wrap than that (ugly) wood trim.

Wish I had a black interior.

Yes, good catch, it is. I ran out of material so I had to use 3 different pieces to do the center console.

I just purchased rotors and pads for the LS400 BBK. I ended up going with R1 concepts drilled rotors and the posi quiet pads. $175 shipped after discount. Not too bad... So far I'm into this BBK for $200 since I got lucky on they junkyard pull with the calipers ($12.99/ea).

Any recommendations for S/S front lines? Also, I'm needing a front RCA setup. I'd like the most minimal drop as possible. I'm planning on the SAGE 18 mm's. Are those going to be OK with Tanabe DF210's and 18" wheels?
