Default 1992 LS400 VIP Project

What's up guys I'm fresh out the academy with this Lexus jazz so I'm going to start my first "bippu" inspired build. I got tired of paying payments on my previous rig so I picked this LS400 from my brother for $1600. I cant find the pic of the day I bought it, but like day two I lowered it.
Enjoy

Anyways, some things I did already that was much needed. Started by removing the old pinstripe with a heatgun, bug and tar remover and a **** ton of elbow grease.

Went ahead and redid all of my audio components. This setup is temporary until the new wood floor is installed in the back.

How do the tail lights look when they are "on"? But this build is progressing pretty well. I see you took the audio route first, like me

Tailights are very visible. Did two coats and they're still good to go at night. Anymore than that then I'm sure I'd be hassled by the law. Yep the factory audio was dated for my taste but now were in the race!

Well bought some new valve cover gaskets. Thanks to Lexls.com for the much needed information on how to go about the procedure. Went ahead and painted the valve covers. Think if they ever leak again im going wrinkle black.

Looking forward to seeing what wheels you put on it. I've got a 92 myself. Looks good so far.

What did you paint the valve covers with? I'm thinking of doing that myself when I tear down my car. I have a 92 as well.

engine block paint usually works best as it can deal with the heat. I like powder coating but it's more expensive and laborious.

I primed them with a duplicolor high build primer, and painted with duplicolor engine enamel. Took one can of each. Simple yet effective.
