I have heard or read it a thousand times ..."I will never sell my car ." Even I said that many times to my wife but I always ended selling those cars I said I will keep till they are good only for the junk shop.
There are times in life that you do what you got to do even if you don't want to. You got to prioritize things in life.
Aaron surely do not want to sell the car . It was a lot of hard work and tons of money poured into that car. It is now a good running car . You guys have no idea how much it hurts him to let it go but there are more urgent things he need to take care now than keeping the car.
The car as you all know is a 1997 SC300 5 speed Black in Black with a 2jzgte & R154 swap . I know every part he bought and installed on this car and he spent well over $20k.

Well , we will do what we got to do to face the current challenges in life but at the same it will be a shame for us to get this 1 out 120 1997 SC300 5 speed Black on Black SHELL parted out in pieces and thereby ending this SC's existence 
. That we are not doing.
So even if I don't need another SC , I just told my good friend Aaron today to bring it to my place tomorrow and I will help him sell everything else except the shell and its interior . I will keep it and am pretty sure the 1997 front look will grow on me.
So if anyone needs anything out of this car except the shell and its interior , let me know. I will start selling things out of it tomorrow.
The Auto TT Diff (lsd) is already spoken for and deposit received.

Richard - I am not parting out the shell which includes everything external and interior. Text me, I have another full set of 97+ oem kit but in red which I was hoarding for my red mamba one but that has a kit already now.
Its just basically the drivetrain including AEM ECU and 2jzgte harness that is being parted out . I will create an ad tomorrow.

So, I can see how some would not understand why the hell I would spend all that time/money/hard work building a car and right when I get it running and dyno'd sell it. I really am sad that I have to sell it and wish I didnt have to. Fact is I just got a promotion unexpectedly and will be forced to move about 600 miles away. I couldnt pass it up and its a great opportunity.I am selling my house and the area I am moving to is a heck of a lot more expensive per sq.ft. than where I live now. So, I am making some last fix me ups to the current home before we put the house on the market. I will use the money I sell my Sc for to pay off my truck and a few bills before applying for a loan on a new home and hopefully that will help me get a lower interest rate. My wife doesn't work anymore so the buttload of extra money we have is not there like it use to be. Anyway, I am very sad that I have to let the car of my dreams go but I am a father of a 3 & 5yr old and the provider of the family and making their lives more comfortable and providing more for them is more important than my wants right now. Dont worry I will have another or maybe even a Supra next time I get one! and maybe me and my son can build it together! I really enjoyed the build and the comments on Club Lexus. Great People on here!
Gerrb is going to do a lot of the selling for me since I am extremely busy right now until November time frame. So if you cant get in touch with me he can help you out. Feel free to ask about any of the parts for the car. The car has less than 100miles on it since it started and probably 45miles of it were on a dyno at TopSpeed in Alpharetta, GA.

Id sell the whole car for $14K to have it gone quick. I dont have even have a for sale ad yet because I have been so busy. Gerrb is getting a whole list of all the items on a for sale ad.

I would like to thank my buddy Aaron for giving me the opportunity to have this 1997 SC300 5 speed Black on Black back . Before I passed this car to him when I got it last year , I never appreciated the 97+ SC looks , exactly the reason why I never kept it and instead offered it to him. I don't know what is on this car that slowly changes my outlook on the 97+,. I guess it is because there where only 120 of them manufactured in 1997. Also the fact that this particular car is simply gorgeous is undeniable. Thanks once again Aaron. Looks like this car will get my best drive train...
Before I started tearing apart the drive train , I took it for a spin near the clubhouse of the subdivision and took some pictures which I am about to post on my build thread.
I have also posted the initital stuff that are being sold from this car on the classified section and there are still a lot of small stuff I need to post. I haven't even posted the long block. The TT differential and Turbo Kit have just been sold to a local forum member. AEM v2 and harness are pending / reserved till Monday pickup .
