Default Biggu's "Build" Thread

Well this isnt so much a build thread but more of a place for me to throw my pictures of my mods.

Long story short here is the new parts for the car,

PPE Headers,
FIGS front lower control arm bushing
FIGS rear lower control arm
FIGS rear toe arms

In addition to this, I put a deposit on a set of SSR wheels. Just need to get a set of KW V3 coilovers and I should be about set.

Pics of the car,

and now for the fun parts picture

Im planning on installing the headers and the rest of the parts this weekend. The wheels will be here in about 2-3 months but atleast its winter and the car will be put up soon.

I ended up specing out 19x9.5 md disk +35 front and 19x10.5 nr disk +43 rear. If math is correct I shouldn't need a roll. I decided to stick with 19"s as IMO 20"s are to big for a daily driven car. Besides with 19" I can just move my tires over.

I will deffinitly get audio, the car has the mufflers deleted though so it's going to sound different. I saw the coils for 1700 but with Figs releasing the Penske coilovers soon I have a feel more people will sell their kw and saturate the sales. Worst case i found where I can get new kw for a reasonable price.

I think you're safe there. I rolled mine just in case, since I'm lowered. Uneven pavement at higher speeds are times when I still hear a little rubbing, but I'm not planning to raise the car anymore now. 20s are nice, but I've always been one to stick with 19s as well. They should look great!

So small update for the ISF. I got a front lip that is out getting painted. my SSR's should be here first week in February I hope.

Big news on the home front, Stance USA Is sending some of their coilovers to me for testing and review purposes.
They currently offer the coilovers for the ISF in a 12k/9k however after taking with them they will be changing that to offer 14k/10k as a standard option. They will be sending me the coilovers with standard springs for testing then in a few months they will be sending me Swift springs for a proper test. I'm very excited to do this for them as I have had stance coilovers on pretty much every car ive had that they have had an option for.

not sure if you know this but are stance spring rates stiffer than Tein CS version 1?

Currently Stance offers the 12kF/9KR, From what ive read on the Tein CST they are offered in 12KF 10K rear. So they are pretty close to the same from what I can see, the 1K difference in the rear a normal everyday person probably wont notice it much. Stance is planning to change out the ISF to 14kF and 10K rear unless the customer specifically asks for the 12k/9k setup.

The great thing with stance is you can call up and change out the spring rates to what ever you would like and they are more than willing to do so.
