Default senxation's 2008 is350 Build Thread

Hey CL,

I am fairly new to this forum and I would l introduce myself. I am from Calgary, AB in Canada where the weather is known to be bipolar here haha. In summer, it is awesome, but when winter comes, it seems as if it just stays for about six months until spring comes around again.

My previous car was a 2000 Acura Integra GSR which I've owned for 2 years until I got rid of it for something better, the is350.

After selling it in late August, I got the chance to pick up a 2008 Starfire pear white is350.

It also came with TE37's on some Tein S tech springs for now, and along with a fabulous lip.

I love the lighting on the car , factory HID with some 3k temp fog bulbs.

My first mod was to get the roof wrapped gloss black. Here is the comparison from white to black.

Headshot.

My next mod was to change out the orange standard DRL with some yellow DRL lights from Auto Value for that JDM look, and ordered some eBay LED for the parking light. Not sure why, but the parking light isn't as bright.

Here is the car now on winter tires because snow is coming soon.

Thanks! Yeah it is a big difference. Probably double the HP or something! Next game plan is to get bags by next spring after winter is gone, but not sure what to do during winter!

Thanks Jump2man3! I did indeed check out your build yesterday and it is going great! I am looking into bags because in winter, it just gets tough driving around slammed and I am pretty lazy to adjust it every time the season changes. So I figured I'd go with bags because I want the car slammed

What sort of bags do most people go with? I was looking to UAS bags but I was told that the bag would not have enough clearance when airring down. So I've had a couple places telling me to get the Air Force Struts that are like this off of a CL member who's selling them:

Do those bags work the same even though they look different from UAS ones?

Well those are Air Struts. UAS Bags are normally used over coils. I would say Air force isnt a bad airstrut. Check out D2, K Sport, Airrex, most are all made in the same region. What is really important is ur air management system. Which alot go with Accuair. Great company and service and really gives you the highest quality in management.

This is such a long time since I've updated anything.. There were a few problems that had occurred.

I got into a car accident in winter and that happened..

After a bit of waiting, I finally got it back and decided to get some coil overs during the downtime
BC Racing 16k/14k specs

Got some wald skirts and the spoiler too..

How it sits now.
