Hi Guys,,

its been a year with no updates I know.
Well the car took a back seat to other projects and then had a change in direction.
This is no longer a race build but rather a killer street/mountain road setup.
So no fiberglass doors and lexan windows but I think for a street car it came out ok :-).
I will go into further details on the actual parts that ended up in the car a bit later but just so I can get this going again here are some pictures.
Still need to sort the side skirts and wing...was the first time we drove the car to a meet so had to rush some stuff.
planning black bolts for the meisters and new skirts and some more stuff like MUCH better tires - but I think these get the overall final look of the car across. happy to hear your opinions :-)
It was a rough time choosing whether or not to put the wing on but after it was on there - i wouldn't go back.
Besides the way it looks it handles perfectly (even better with better tires :-) )

Is there any update on this build? And do you have any more information on your is-f caliper bracket design?

Hi,

The car was finished in its new Street form as we decided we would focus track efforts on our Silvia.

With regards to the ISF Calipers/rotors yes it was all finished..Rear adapter was a pain to design - really a 3 dimensional bracket design :-).

I have also attached pictures of a Customers car we just now started building with Yellow powder coated ISF Front Calipers and CTS-V rear 4pot calipers. Car will get the full treatment as far as suspension chassis etc.

Man I've been waiting to see these calipers on an SC for a while. This is my ultimate goal towards braking.

I'm really curious why the front caliper is mounted so much lower compared to the location of the stock caliper? Were there clearance issues if the caliper was mounted in the stock location?

as we are Endless dealers obviously we went with endless pads which are superb. Combine these calipers with endless pads and sticky 265/275 michelin pilot super sticky tires and it has real savage braking capabilities.
i can make the front and rear brackets if needed/wanted.

no way to mount the in the stock location. Too many things in the way. Even with the current location we needed to shave about 10th of an inch off the caliper in between the calipers miunting holes. Nothing you would even notice .
