Default Daily Driven '01 GS430 Build

Hello Club Lexus! So i guess i'll start off with a backstory:

Got the car in January 2014 so i can have a reliable daily driver. My official project car/ first project is a honda EG6 (in which i am hoping to let go very soon). Decided to go with a Lexus platform after talking to my homie, who had a GS300. Did some research and came across Mr. Vipdout's build on his website and fell in love with the idea of VIP and looking like a "G" when going from point A to point B, lol. So ended up finding a Silver 01 GS430 with navigation and black interior with 120K! I didn't really do much except acquire some parts from my friend and just maintenance. As for my goals, i haven't decided if i wanted to just "build the car" or go "VIP" but whatever happens, happens. But fast forward to today, i bought a muffler and decided to just make a build thread of the car! Of course, this build will be slow just cause i want to finish my first project before i move on to this one, but nonetheless, i will be modding the car during the winter time or when i feel like, it's time to do something different to the daily. So here it is, and i hope you guys enjoy.

Here are some pics:

So i ended up not going to work because yah boy had the runs lol. But ended up napping and felt so much better so i was like, nothing to do today so might as well replace the exhaust. Went on Craigslist literally yesterday and ended up finding an exhaust for the Lexus for a good price. Ended up just pulling the trigger and went for it, found out it was my old high school friends homie that had the exhaust on his GS300 so it was cool lol. Ended up wet sanding and polishing as much as i could with turtle wax aluminum polish, didn't really work as muc,so i'm going to do some more research and polish what i can while the exhaust is on the car. But the exhaust that i got is the Blitz Nur Spec II's, still had a good amount of shine and just a few scratches.

The Day I Got The Exhaust: (Excuse the Messy Trunk)

Today When I Installed Them:

Looks like a great project.. I have the Blitz Nur Spec also.. Had them for over 10 years. Also added Top Speed Pro Mid Pipe, third muffler delete, and its sounds perfect. Subscribed for future mods..

@tmf2004: Thanks! I'll probably add more to the exhaust, when money comes my way. But nonetheless, i'll be sure to live up to your expectations lol.

So nothing new, so far but i have been on the market looking for some parts for the GS. Currently, looking to get either LED tail lights or Exactmotorsports RCA to make the car lower but most importantly, fix the toe problem on my car. But i do wanna install some parts for the Lexus already!!! So with little to no money, i just cleaned up the engine bay the best i could lol.

It could always be better but i just did what i could that day. Also, I've been learning a lot about VIP styling through the VIP Lounge Podcast and just by researching. Pretty interesting to hear about VIP/EXE style too. Still haven't decided but that's just something for me to keep in mind as well.

If you can afford it there some nice sway bar and strut bar in the classifieds.. That strut bar would look good in that engine bay.
