Hy everyone.
My name is Misha Vossema and i live in the netherlands (europe)
I surve in the Dutch army and ive always been into cars.
Ive always liked the sc/soarer model and couldnt resist buying such a car.
My first sc wasnt an Sc but a 91 Soarer i imported from japan.
I did that just for the 1jz engine. I have already purchaced an R154 5 speed box.

It had so many isseus i parked it @ my dads place for the last 4 year.

I never liked the pre facelift models much zo i kept my eyes open till this came along.

So the plan is to make 1 super nice sc from the 2 cars.

The second car is an 2000 Sc400 with 154.000 miles on it.
It has been totaled by previous owner. right front damage,blown airbags,broken windshield.

I now have to choose between the 1uz vvti and the 1jz.

Misha, it is always a pleasure to meet new people, even overseas. Both cars look great and glad to see another member still have trust in the 1JZ.

Out here you Just Never see these cars.In my country there are Just 3 soarers registered. And a handfull of pre facelift sc300 /400 . Both cars run like a Dream luckely .

I have a question. Ive been searching on ebay and found a few replacement dash airbags. But have heard that they dont ship overseas because they are dangerous.

I really need a need airbag for the dash. If someone has pointeres i like to here them.

And i stil have to find a replacement frontbumper and there just none around.

whats your plan for both cars right now? do you plan to keep both and work on them? that sc400 is very clean I would love to see that get rebuilt!

The plan is to rebuild the sc400 with the parts from my soarer . Stil not sure what engine i want to use tho.

Nice build thread... A lot of places or people don't like to ship airbags because sometimes they can deploy while being shipped. you might be able to find somebody on the forums that is willing to ship the airbag to you. Good luck with your build and journeys.

I would love the see the 400 back to its original former glory! just curious what wheels are on them, they look like blitz type 03's but one piece.

I really want that too but i just cannot find a replacement facelift front bumper for my lexus.

So i think thad i wil just put al the pre facelift panels from my soarer on and get it painted for the time being.

Im really not sure what kind of wheels they are.
But i dont think there blitz because they look cheap to me haha.

i can live with the wheels for now.

Wheels aren't bad. I would leave them on there till you settle on which you direction you decide to do.

Thads exactly what i will do !

I will sell the set thads on the soarer.

and for themporary use i can always take the set of wheels from my daily Honda prelude bb9 with a pretty long modlist . Maybe my buddyclub p1 racings but this seems to do the job on the sc for now.

Damn i love my sc400. The platinum zilver with the black interior. It just works.

Have bought a folder from the facelift model too :
