Default ><> First Lexus

I bought an IS350 today. It was kind of an impulse buy. I was planning on getting an Audi Q5, but I guess I'm still keeping it JDM.

It's main purpose is to be my daily driver. My other car is a 510whp/430lb-ft Evo X. Built motor running on 93 pump & FP Black. I have been daily driving it for the past 5 months since I sold my Prelude beater. I love my car as it is very fast and handles amazingly, but driving something so rough, loud, and fast every day can become tiresome. It's hard to park in the city, it attracts unwanted attention, and it's my baby.

So I'll be "lightly" modifying this Lexus. A lip kit, some wheels, coilovers or springs, and some little things here and there. I'm not really into the stance scene, so I'm not going that route. I think the overall performance is a bit sloppy, but I wasn't really expecting it to be anything like an Evo from the get-go. But that's why I bought it.

I do have a lot of questions about what parts to get, so I'll be scouring these forums and asking here.

Here's a pic of the stock Lexus and a few of my other car.

I'm pretty sure it's just stock.

The rotors are drilled, though. I know that's not stock. I'm not a big fan of them either.

lol really? How quiet is a IS350? I thought this was just how it sounded. I'll have to look under the car later.

Welcome! Your car also looks like it has negative camber in the rear? Maybe just pic angle though?

Thank God. I thought it was going to be another plastdipped, teal blue, sticker bombed IS. This will be in the right hands. Nice Evo!

No, it's like that lol. Maybe this car used to be herrafrush? I should look for scraping on the underside.

I looked at the exhaust. It's Tanabe. I like it a lot! When I test drove it the sound did surprise me. I thought Lexus were super quiet. This exhaust has some grunt, but no drone and isn't very loud.
