Need help with 92 sc400 radio wiring
Hi I'm new to this forum and don't really know how to use it that well.
I've been without a radio for the past 8 months because I can't seem to get this fixed. I believe my amp was fried that caused it to not work anymore . I want to rewire a new amp and put in a after market head deck and new amp
I can't seem to understand the colour coding for it though I can't really read a wiring diagram to be honest.
Here are my questions
Could I use my original speakers ? Or should I buy new ones
Is there somewhere on the Internet that would tell me what each wire represents ?
What do I need to know for installing a new head deck with amp ?
I tried taking it to a pro to do it but he gave me a ridiculous price that I cannot afford lol
I'm 19year old student that is in live with my SC !

Search brother - all are here - not only that - the Metra Dash kits and whatnot can come with wiring to throw in - go to crutchfield and look for vehicle specific wiring. I wired mine up myself but i used to install years ago.
Stock speakers will be fine for a bit - but our cars are old - so wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them in the future, one thing at a time if your bound by budget.

Thank you man
I've tried searching everything for the colour codes and what each colour stands for but can't find anything lol
I found the diagram but don't know how to ready it :/
Is yours a nakamichi premium or pioneer ?

I have the provisions for the nakamichi but I had Pioneer. Previous owner or someone before him had hacked the wiring up to put an aftermarket stereo in. I had it working but removed it recently and am going back to stock. So I'm dealing with similar. I just haven't had time so I'm rocking no stereo right now. But seriously - I just went to crutchfield and in under 2 minutes pulled up the metra dash kit and wiring diagram, you won't get alot of lovei f you don't put some effort out. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1207017...g-Harness.html
Metra 70-1761 for the wiring harness that will plug directly in if you didn't have factory CD player. Dash kit is there as well, FYI, the wiring kit is 9 bucks.
