yea ive been researching alot on that turbo. Seems like its a good turbo for a 2j and not a 1j. I know theres a few guys running this turbo but they also have other mods to help. Yea i was also looking at the DM turbo kits as well. I def want something to spool fast since this will be my daily and street car. On my IS i had a 60-1 and that thing would spool quick haha.

What engine place are you waiting for?

I just drove up to Kearny and picked up my engine after finding a price I couldn't resist on there eBay store. When I got there they let me hand pick my motor.

damn homie.. i just brought 440cc injectors from Gerrb which should be here tomorrow and hopefully if my friend is free this weekend i could go up to put up the motor. Im also leaning towards buying the AEM infinity standalone.. i was going to go with the safc but just for a piece of mind im going to go full standalone this time around.

Now i was looking at the bw366 but heard it would be too laggy. Then i was looking at the bw s360. My plan is only to get around 400hp. I think if i use 440cc and a safc i should be able to make the power im looking for. But what do you guys think on turbo set up. I even hit up Omar and he told me s360 but i want to get a few more people options that have ran some of these turbos on the 1j.
VVTi or no? If non VVTi then even the S360 might be a bit overkill for under 400hp, BW recommends them for applications between 5-600hp. You could always grab a Holset or just grab the S360 and just plan to break 400hp, cuz you will want to

Yea ive been doing alot of research and going back and forth between a piggy back or standalone. I figured since i want to do a solid build this time around im just going to go with a full standalone. What are you using now?

Non VVTI--- i was thinking when i get the motor to just go with the DM single turbo set up. Im pretty sure ill be happy with 400.. I dont plan on racing heavy like that or doing anything crazy. I just want to have some type of power haha. When i was making over 400 in my IS i was happy with the power and didnt want more.

Just got my JDM 440cc injectors in today. thanks to Gerrb.. (who btw is a great seller.. Process went really smooth).. Also a pic of my wideband.. I cant wait to get the motor so i can start tearing it apart.. BTW does anybody know where i can send out the injectors to get flow tested and to clean them?

So question. Ive been doing some search about the wiring harness for the 1j. now since i plan on going with the AEM infinity i see that Boomslang makes a pnp harness. So my question is should i go with the pnp harness for the sc300 or should i go with the harness for the soarer? Part number BF21124 is for the Lexus Sc300 and Part number BF21105 is for the 92-96 Soarer..

You will have to extend soarer harness to fit your SC300.....if you decide to go that route

if you are using SC300 harness as base and are adding additional wires needed to run 1jz you wouldnt have to extend
