Interested to know what PSI's were getting you HP wise...

And how long it took you to spool to full boost!

spooled up just fine and actually was the big difference from the 1st tune session vs. the 2nd.

Mainly the result of a much better tune the 2nd time around, which made higher numbers off less psi. 35 psi vs. 28.

Mike- I am excited to see what you have in store!!

Its too cold outside to be driving a 700hp+ car, even with traction control I wont do it and I'm damn sure mike won't do that either but as soon as the weather breaks, rain wash the salt of the streets she will be out for sure!!.

Stay tune.

^^^^^^^^^^^^How much power are you looking for? It really depend on your power goal and your budget.

I can make power with either engine , it really doesn't matter to me.

But if you want 900-1000 the 2jz is better, rods, pistons, bmc,and you are done + nice sets of cams.

E85 Changed the whole performance game..

That's Easy.. Camshafts, EMS,1000cc,and a decent Turbo will make 500hp on pump gas 93oct all day now for 600hp you will ethanol or race gas this is on the 1jz.

2jz will make 600hp on pump 93oct depending on the Turbo size and the Tuner..550hp all day without trying, easier to achieve with camshafts.

Really they both are reliable and make a lot of power... Just think about your future goals when you are getting ready to buy the swap.. if you will ever want 800-900hp, I would get a 2jz..
If you only want 500-700 in the next 5years then 1jz is your best friend.
