PrinceAkim's LS 460L Build Thread
Hello fellow CL members, I'm glad to finally join this forum as a LS owner. I recently sold (gave) my 2001 GS 430 to a family member, which is awesome because I still get to keep my eye on it. I just picked up an 07 LS460L with the Comfort Plus Package. Fellow member Tee and I went down to Miami to pick up the car and drove it back. We blue taped the front bumper to protect it from rock chips and bugs. The look on people's face at the dealership was priceless as we taped and drove off the lot. The car rode like a dream, and I've loved it since picking it up. I even had a chance to ride in the back seat and recline. Since meeting LS members, I've been recommended to buy an L. I must say that buying the L over the SWB was the best decision I made. Everyone sits comfortably and not to mention the stock air suspension available in the L for the 07. My first purchase/mod was a Prestigious Society Air Controller from a CL member. Future mods include Plasti Dip Grill, chrome stripping on the lower bumper (Thanks Tee), LED bulb replacement, side cover mirrors with blinkers, wheels, painted calipers, roof spoiler. Here are some pics of my old GS and the LS.

When deciding on wheels, I originally wanted the Altstadt F100 wheel after seeing a pic on a black LS 600. Unfortunately those wheels are hard to find and later found out they have been discontinued. My alternative wheel was a new wheel from a company called XO Luxury Wheels. I decided on the Paris wheel in 22" staggered. I like the machine finish with the black window and rivets. It's not the same as the Altstadt wheel, but looks pretty good.

So Tee has his annual LCM4 meet coming up, and I just have to get things in order for the meet. I wanted to install my mods, but first and foremost install the wheels. I decided to try out the Delinte D7 in 255/30/22 and 305/25/22. So far no complaints, and I love how wide the rear sits, definitely a game changer. Not to mention I purchased them for half the cost of the same size Toyo's! I've heard mixed reviews on the tires, but decided to give it a try for that value and for the 305. Got them mounted and loved it. The guys at the tire shop (customers too) were all loving the wheels and how wide the tires were.

How's the ride with lowered and 305's? Any rubs? Also I heard those tires have a bad tread pattern that makes driving on the freeway seem un natural steering wise, any comments?
Aside from my questions the car is sitting nice! ATL is really doing it big,
