Quoting this for when you start searching for more power. 500whp will be good enough for about a week. lol, Or until you get beat by a car you didn't expect to get beat by or you don't run the time at the track that you expected to. That's just the nature of the game.

TweakedIS3 said it right .. you will be satisfied until no one passes you . Once you can't catch up with someone , there goes the 500rwhp satisfaction. It's a virus without any cure once you start modding a car. It progressively gets worst as long as you have the means to spread it. Only way without contracting that virus is keeping your car stock .

500hp should be good for now...but at a point it comes down to do you really need that much more HP....

My build is more racing oriented....i.e I plan on tracking the SC

for the streets and for the weight of these cows , around 650ish rwhp is the sweet spot . traction issues , daily driving reliability etc etc to me is what stops me from wanting to go much beyond this .im at 600 and have tons of fun . There are many faster but most of the time they are playing catch up as I get out the hole very fast

I'm just saying that there are plenty of cars making 500hp at factory level now days. I think you'll enjoy your 5xx hp for awhile but eventually it will become dull just like factory boost levels do. throw in getting your *** handed to you by a stock mustang, camaro, challenger etc you'll be searching for more power to beat them.

Maybe I'm wrong. I doubt it though.

To this day I am still amazed why everybody calls Supras and SCs cows? How do you figure?

Yeah it's not Miata or E30 light but it's a larger car with alot more comfort features...

The car weighs around 3500lbs which is not that heavy. You guys make it seem like it weights as much as a Bently CGT.

500hp at factory level is like an 80k car, supra/sc are the best you can get for simple and power. Go ahead and tune a modern 500p car, good luck trying to fix it. I really think buying a modern car is boring.

Curb weight 3577. By the time we add our turbo components, intercooer etc, we are up to probably 3800 ish ...they are piggys nonetheless, not really built for racing but I love them regardless .. 650 rwhp ish from my experience really gets their heavy azz moving

Let's wait and see , when you taste driving a 500rwhp car and still your *** whooped by some others whether on the streets , on the track or on the drag strip , I would love to hear you say "Do I really need that much more HP ? " . Saying "Good For Now " ... already tells me something . If you don't get your *** whooped by other cars in your area then maybe , you won't need more hp !

I'm sure you'll be grinning ear to ear at 20psi on that turbo, and will be well into the 500s. I was at 400 for 2 years, have been at 540 for a year now at that same boost level on a smaller BW. Car is an absolute blast on the street. All this after having had a 630hp dsm before this, it's still a blast. There will always be bigger fish, but I'm sure you'll love it. You'll probably be more focused on planting the power then figuring out how to make more, at least that's where I'm at...
