Thanks Steve.....im using the stock seat belts for now.....I am looking at both 4pt and 6pt harnesses...

I will not be using those harness cars that are unsafe

I am going to be attaching the harness belts to the rear seat belt bolts...similar to this..

Ryan, that Black does look good! If you're going to do it, now is the time...since your SC is in storage for the winter months?

Did it lower the seat position a good bit? I'd love to switch out to some race seats to save weight and keep me better positioned as the stock seats are like sitting on a slip and slide.

Well SEM paint is very sensitive and it needs to be done outside cause it is very toxic and temperamental....I will wait till it gets warmer out to spray it...I need to touch a few other pieces up that got scuffed up as well..

This style of seat which is bottom mount makes the height relatively close to stock.....side mount seats will allow you to go much lower...but the weight savings are huge....I figure with slider and bracket installed they have to be around 30lbs total....at least if not more than half the weight of the stock SC seats....they are heavy as hell

These seats definitely are a snug fit and it will feel good to stay planted in the seats when ripping the car around...

Ah, I see...gotcha Ryan. I didn't think about the SEM paint and the temp/weather. Good reminder for me.

Did you use the mk4 supra racing seat brackets to install your seats?

Yes....Sparco bracket and slider for 93-98 Supra...

Here is how it is all mounted up together with sliders and seat....the washers were added so the slider would clear the front of the seat.....I went to a local hardware store and picked up longer bolts and washers to raise it up and add a little rake to the seat..

Thanks for confirming that.
Were you still able to mount the stock seat belt buckle to the side of the seat?
