That's good to hear. What are the spring rates on your coilovers?

I think they are 12/10 or something. Since they are prototypes I didn't have a choice. I think the production ones will be 22/20 or something crazy.

The funny thing is that my front coilovers are maxed out lengthwise. I can't raise it any higher or else the shocks will come apart.

Put some projectors in my high beams, cleared out my amber corner light, and installed some TSX-R clear lenses into the LS430 projectors. The amber corners really killed the look of the car for me so I had to get rid of them.

I love the headlights. How hard is it to take the amber part out?

Can I send you my headlights and you take out the amber pieces out?

Taking it out is fairly easy. Fabricating a clear piece to replace it isn't as easy.

If you want to try it yourself I can help guide you through it.

I figured the clear piece would be the hard part.

These headlights are so expensive that I'm scared to mess with them. I'd rather send them to you along with some money to get it done.

I've seen these for as little as 275$ shipped for a "bare" pair on HIDplanet! Wait til there's a spare set somewhere and buy those to experiment with. Patience is a virtue lol

Looks like a morimoto type deal. Easiest and cheapest way to get a nice headlight conversion.

Yep they are mini H1s. Perfect fit and easy to retro.

That's a really good idea. I think I will go that route since I've been wanting to experiment with a set but didn't want to mess up my only set.

Car looks awesome!

Any chance you could shed some insight to the retrofit?

Did you bake the entire unit or heatgun the lense? Also, what did you use to seal them back up?

Thanks!

There is a tab below the lens that needs to be cut or broken to remove the lens. Also there are two metal clips at the top you will need to pop off with a flathead. I put them in the oven for 10 min at 275*F. You can leave all bulbs, plugs, and harnesses connected. The lenses on these headlights separate so easily compared to other headlights I have done. I just used whatever glue was on there to seal them back up. If it leaks I guess I will get some more glue.
