Default My Fathers Day Gift Build

So my wife suprised me with a very clean 94 SC400 on Fathers day. My 1st Lexus was a 96 SC400 and since then I have gone thru several cars. I have love for Lexus.
Anyways so I decided to put my touches on this car and share. I am not looking for speed, been there done that with turbos all I am looking for is something very clean and this car is the perfect platform. I have several plans including slamming the car ofcourse, but in addition too I decided to go with 19x9 Bentley OEM's I should be picking those up this week. I will not post everyday but read and enjoy.

Default The Fun Stuff

So I have an OEM 97 kit sitting in the garage for sometime now, the only problem is the front bumper has some major damage. I did some blogging and research and discovered plasti weld. I went down to Harbor Freight and purchased a plastic welding gun, PP, PVC, ABS welding sticks. I had to do some trial and error to see which sticks would adhere to the bumper and it turns out the PP is the best to use. I had to back fill using really thin screen mesh, and soldering plastic around it to hold and then filled in all of the cracks and gaps. I have discovered this takes some skill. But I didnt see the need to send my bumper to a body shop when they probably wouldnt have done it this way at all. If I fail atleast I tried but in this case I didnt fail. 06.22.13 all the pics you see are up to the point of me sanding off the glaze and touching up where it needs to be touched up at.

Default Some More Goodies

My soon to be installed audio set up:
Pioneer Double Din
10" Kicker CVR
Some randon mono amp
Accessories

I had these rims sitting around they were chrome and my wife bent one so I sent them to be repaired and powder coated. They are ASA 19x9.5 all around +46 (weak offset) but until I get the Bentleys I can run these.
