Fixed your thread title, and it could be any of those things just start addressing them one at a time.
a w58 can have crank walk its just less common and wears on different bearings cause of pull vs push.

Listen, the car may have some problems but if your happy with the car that is all that matters. Find a reputable shop, and slowly fix the issues at hand. There is no need to bash you or make you feel dumb, at one point or another we have all made poor decisions, or purchases with our cars. Enjoy the car buddy, and congrats on the buy.
