New project - Supercharged SC400 part 2
#46
Before pic and an after pic on drivers seat.
Taking a break from the interior stuff. Need to get these motors swapped.
Motor swap to do:
Remove motor
Remove abs / trac
Re-locate fuse box
Clean engine bay
Install built motor
Will have to do some wiring as a few things were damaged in the green car
Fans / radiator
Supercharger / piping
Water meth install
Interior to do:
Sound deadening on doors and in trunk
Change passenger seat leather
Front door armrest(s) leather
Possibly do the center console lid and e brake boot
Clean it all up real good

dude, nice build.. & believe it or not I was actually going to buy this car once i saw it listed online a few months back, lol. but I ended up buying Justin Barbers SC400 to replace my old stock sc400 that was wrecked:
where at in nc do you stay? i'm in charlotte in the ballantyne area currently buying plenty of parts & planning my m90 setup when I make it back home from this deployment in the next month or so.

I'm Charlotte myself, University area, we should meet up some time.
If you haven't already invested allot in an M90 setup I would highly rec a Vortech or other centrifugal type charger, probably the simplest way to get boost on a 1uz. Although, I'm not sure you can get the bracket anymore.

So I've been slacking on the updates and pics. So some new pics. Got the passenger seat done. Happy with the way the seats turned out, would be better but the foam itself is a bit worn and the covers are a bit worn also.
Got the water / meth installed and working.
Picture of the IS300 wheel as I hadn't posted one yet. I'm really starting to like shifting from the wheel. For some reason the Suprastick is not currently working well in auto mode, not sure why, haven't had a chance to figure it out yet.
Other updates:
Changed the fuel filter.
Need to try and recalibrate the LC1 as it is having issues. To be honest I've never really liked the thing and tend to trust the AEM more.
My ac control unit took a dump, everything works and screen is good but it won't kick on the compressor for some reason. Simple fix, the Adaptronic now turns on the ac.
Gonna try and get a better intake system going for the suction side of the Vortech as I don't like the small filter up against the radiator setup.
I had to make some modifications to the throttle cable bracket as apparently the non trac throttle body is different in where the throttle linkage is located, the cable was too short and the throttle was sticking open slightly.
Got the door armrests and center console leather changed, need to take some pics.
Probably more I'm forgetting at the moment.....LOL.
