Tuning in. I'm also attempting the 5.3 swap. Looking good so far, hopefully we can collaborate on here a little bit.

I wanted to use the truck accessories too, but they are humongous aren't they? Let me know if the alternator fits the sc at that location. I tested the truck intake manifold in my sc400 and there's absolutely no way--without a custom cross member lol.

Yeah luckily I got the ls1 intake with the motor but I'll definitely let you know how it fits it should work tho even if I have to make another offset plate to lower it more this one lowered the stock bracket down 3/4 of an inch and moved it to the right 1.5 inches so it would clear the throttle body but with this plate i had to grind 1/8inch off the back of the stock bracket to get the pullies to line up

Well I finally decided it was time to take the Lexus out of commission it was a little bit more of a headache then I had planned but in the process we came up with some ideas on stuff like keeping the factory shifter with the th400 and maybe fabbing up a tubular cross member that will get rid of the one closest to the firewall and give me plenty if room for the f-body oil pan

F-body oil pan will fit with the stock crossmember with a minor trim, no need to fab anything up.

Engine bay came out nice, any pictures from underneath the car?
